Our 2019 BDX Monticello Red Blend is comprised of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Malbec, and was aged 16 months in French oak.  It is medium-bodied, smooth, and soft with extremely well-integrated tannins.  Red fruit and some subtle spice and herb notes on the nose.  Sweet red fruit that leads to a rounded and soft palate, followed by tart red fruit that gives length as it lingers on the finish.  Very approachable now upon initial release, this red wine will pair very naturally with a variety of dishes.
