2018 Chardonnay | Shenandoah Valley AVA

A classically oaked Chardonnay, fermented in French oak barrels with regular lees stirring for months following fermentation.  This wine went through 90% malolactic fermentation, and continued to age in barrel for 18 months.  A full, rich palate with a strong  toasted edge and creamy center - the remaining malic acid adds a brightness and touch of levity.
